Serrano Tampiqueno (Capsicum annum) is an upright plant that grows compact 2” long peppers with a medium heat level between 6,000 to 23,000 Scoville Heat Units. These seeds are Non-GMO, annual, open-pollinated, heirloom, high yielding, deer resistant, heat tolerant, and drought tolerant.

Planting Instructions:

  • Sow Indoors: Start Indoors 7-9 weeks before your last spring frost date

  • Transplant Outdoors: Harden off and transplant when seedlings are 6-8 inches tall

Growing Tips:

  • Light Requirements: Full Sun

  • Spoil Preference: Well-draining, loose (sandy loam) slightly acidic (6.5 pH), and moisture retaining.
